We are Ken and Dan Garner, father and son. Ken Garner is a retired maths teacher who has been a keen amateur wood turner for over 30 years. Dan, also a teacher (but not retired), has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, and designs and makes things in his spare time.

Both of us work together to bring you how-to video guides along with the Garner steady rest.
